Established since the 1980, when it provided services through its 450 bedded facility today it has grown to a 1000 bedded contemporary hospital complex with provision of all subspecialties of Medicine. Teamed with the Maternity & Childrens hospital available within a half mild radius, it is the larges wt comprehensive health care provider of the Ministry of Health of the sprawling Makkah Al Mukarramah region. It serves as a referral centre for all primary care, secondary care and even private health care facilities.
